THE SHORT ANSWER
Frequently Asked Questions
Clear answers about joining, talking, expressing yourself, and staying in control on nimboo.
How do I create an account?
Choose Create account to continue to the nimboo app. Registration, consent, verification, and onboarding happen there—not on this public website.
How does account verification work?
After you register, follow the verification steps shown in the nimboo app. Once verification and onboarding are complete, the app takes you to the rooms experience.
How old do I need to be?
nimboo is an 18+ community by product policy. The approved Terms, version 1.0.0, formalize eligibility, including any applicable location-specific rules.
Which devices can I use?
nimboo is designed for a modern web browser on phones, tablets, and computers. Available features can vary with the browser, device permissions, and release status.
What are rooms?
Rooms are conversation spaces built around shared interests. You can browse public rooms, and some spaces may be password-protected or private.
How do direct messages work?
Direct messages let people continue a conversation one-to-one. Use your privacy settings and blocking controls to decide who can reach you and when a conversation should stop.
Can I send voice notes?
Yes. Voice notes let you send a recorded message when speaking fits better than typing. Live voice calls are not part of the current release.
What are nimboo coins?
Coins are a closed-loop, in-platform virtual balance planned for nimboo features. They have no cash value, cannot be bought, withdrawn, redeemed, or exchanged, and are not cryptocurrency and not an investment. The user-facing wallet is still in development.
How do gifts work?
In-platform gifts are a future feature still in development. nimboo does not currently present gifts as available, purchasable, redeemable, or exchangeable.
What privacy controls are available?
Available controls include direct-message privacy choices, profile editing, blocking, reporting, and account-security options. The Privacy page contains the approved Privacy, version 1.0.0.
How do blocking and reporting work?
Blocking helps stop private interactions with a person. Reporting brings a possible rule or safety concern to attention, but it does not guarantee a particular outcome. Both actions are available from the signed-in Safety centre.
How do moderation and appeals work?
Room teams can use role and moderation tools to uphold their spaces. nimboo may act when conduct breaks the rules. When an outcome can be appealed, the signed-in Safety centre shows that option.
